Secondly, what do you think of McDowell's victory cheers after taking Matthew's Hill, while confederates under Jackson formed on Henry House Hill and Johnston's reinforcements flowed into the area? Wasn't this against military protocol? (It seem many Union Generals didn't follow up on confederate demoralizations)
